Find An Event Supported by the Friends of Roxborough State Park

Financed by The Friends and the Colorado Parks Foundation, the seven passenger electric cart can be reserved for a trip around the Fountain Valley or for special events on the two park overlooks.

Friends provides funding for materials used for the park interpretive programs.  From Leave No Trace events, to geology, history, wildflower, wildlife, and archaeology hikes, Friends helps the park volunteer naturalists bring the park alive.

During the summer and fall months, Friends leads hikes on the night before the full moon allowing visitors to see the full moon rise and the park after dark. Increased chances of seeing wildlife in their natural habitats. Reservations required.

Listening to music on the patio with the Red Rocks all around you is a special treat. Multiple concerts featuring a range of performers are scheduled in the evenings during the summer and fall months.
