Join us for a Stroll in the Moonlight!

As a calm summer evening falls on Roxborough, and the moon rises, the park comes alive in a unique way. Even if you’ve experienced the natural beauty of Roxborough during the day, you’ll be amazed to visit by the light of the full moon!

The cool night air awakes a whole other side to Roxborough State Park. Start your journey at the Visitor Center and hike alongside the sleeping red giant rocks as we hike the Fountain Valley Trail. This event takes place once a month throughout the summer and fall months. Participants will be paired with a knowledgeable volunteer guide who will accompany the group on a hike and describe the features of the park and the unique character that can only be experienced in this unique, after-hours adventure!
